Introducing Two New Colleges

Beginning in July, UCF will have two new colleges, bringing together programs in key areas where the university excels. The changes will provide new opportunities for interdisciplinary learning and research and best prepare students for the new world after graduation.

The new names of the colleges are:

  • College of Community Innovation and Education
  • College of Health Professions and Sciences

The College of Community Innovation and Education (CCIE) will focus on the pillars of thriving, modern cities, such as civic engagement and governing, safety and justice, and health and well-being – all of which are grounded in transformative education.  The College of Education and Human Performance’s education programs will align with CCIE.  Click here to view a full listing of the new college’s academic programs.

The College of Health Professions and Sciences (CHPS) will become part of the newly created Academic Health Sciences Center with the College of Medicine and College of Nursing.  The College of Education and Human Performance’s sport and exercise science program will align with CHPS.  Click here to view a full listing of the new college’s academic programs.
